Namaste beautiful!

So today I'm sharing with you three of the very few things I ever use on my skin, now because we are all different, just because it works for me, doesn't mean it'll work wonders for you! I'm not a dermatologist or professional but these work for me and aren't full of any nasties!

Making these is a moving meditation in it's self, as is the process of using them, the time spent with them on the skin is often a nice time to find some stillness, a nice way to cultivate a short self-care routine if you will.

Exfoliating Coffee Scrub Mask

  • 2 tablespoons of coffee grounds

  • 2 tablespoons of virgin coconut oil

Use equal parts ground coffee and coconut oil to form an easy scrub, apply it on your face in gentle circular motions, let it sink in for a few minutes and wash it off with warm water, pat dry gently and allow face to fully dry off naturally.

Hydrating Avocado Mask

  • 1/4 ripe avocado

  • 1 teaspoon plain organic yogurt

  • 1 teaspoon of honey

Mash the avocado, mix in the yogurt and honey to create a paste. Apply to your face and leave on for 5-10minutes. Again a little bit of coconut or olive oil is quite nice to add too if you’re wanting more hydration!

Peppermint Body Scrub

  • 1/2 cup coconut oil, melted, but not warm

  • 1 & 1/2 cups of sugar

  • 1 tablespoon of peppermint extract or a few drops of Peppermint essential oil

Add the sugar to the coconut if the mixture is too wet add more sugar or add more oil if it’s too dry. Store in mason jar and use in the shower for a bit of exfoliation and to wake up the body.
