A little about meditation Practice

It's easy to brush off the practice of meditation, but only after one session can you feel the benefits. It comes with the risk of your subconscious brain dealing with your thoughts while you are asleep, sometimes show themselves in the form of nightmares, but better allow that than those weighing you down. When we allow stillness we can forgive and have more room for love in our life. When we rest, we can grow strong from within, we have more time for others and more strength to open our hearts and minds. We can grow stronger by allowing ourselves to slow down and heal.

For a daily practice you can very easily cultivate your own practice, however if you don't feel ready and would like guidance (I will be sharing some on youtube very soon) but I would recommend the Insight Timer app, available on the google play store. https://insighttimer.com/

For a longer very restful experience where you are able to lay down, I would recommend trying Yoga Nidra, also known as yogic sleep, it's a beautiful practice that allows rest, that can feel like you have had 4 hours sleep in just 45 minutes. There are a versions on the aforementioned app as well as on YouTube.

If you are trying to make a daily practice but feel you do not have the time, try just five minutes at a set time - it might be when you wake up, just before before or even before lunch, but that consistency will help and eventually you will want to increase the time.

Talk about your experiences with others if you feel that might help you understand, maybe write them in a book if you want to keep track of your emotions and what the practice gives to you and allows you to release, or even take a moment to acknowledge what you experienced after your practice.

If you'd like to know anything or to see a post on anything in particular do feel free to send me a message - I'm always here for you,

Katherine
